2014

The 2014 Crescent Challenge was held at Davidson River Campground in Pisgah Forest, NC.  Balmy weather greeted those fortunate enough to attend the event.  Regardless, the nice breakfast camp fire you see at left was warranted.  Read about it in the Archives.

The slideshow playing in the header  above are all from the 2011 iteration of the Crescent Challenge, held near Mount Mitchell.  Believe it or not, the image with snow in it, and the image of some of us taking a break in a meadow were taken about the same time of day.

Welcome to the Crescent Challenge - Dreamline Variant

Every year, we get together to enjoy the out-of-doors.  We used to document our adventures on this site, so that we might recall them years from now.  In case you are wondering what the Crescent Challenge is, be sure and check the About page for details.
